Lancaster City Council Community hub, Financial assistance, Lancaster District Hardship Fund

Lancaster City Council has set up a hardship fund in the district, this may be of use to some of our families. This scheme is being run in partnership with North Lancashire Citizens Advice and the Lancaster District Food Justice Partnership and the aim of this scheme is to provide longer term support to those who are struggling financially.
More information can be find at the link below, The types of short term support the fund can help with include: - Utility bills
- Food
- Debts
- Housing costs
- Household appliances
- Other essential items
As part of the process, applicants will have an assessment with Citizens Advice to see if there are any additional benefits people may be entitled to.
