Clubs
At Great Wood, we are proud to offer a wide range of extracurricular clubs and enrichment opportunities for children across all year groups. We believe that learning extends beyond the classroom and that clubs play an important role in developing confidence, teamwork, creativity, resilience and new skills. Our extracurricular programme is designed to provide children with opportunities to explore new interests, develop talents and enjoy experiences alongside their peers in a fun and supportive environment.
Many of our clubs are provided free of charge by our dedicated school staff. We also work with a range of experienced external providers to offer specialist clubs and activities and because we are committed to ensuring that all children have access to our extracurricular opportunities, any fees payable for these are subsidised for families in receipt of Universal Credit.
